January 7th, 2002 – Triple H Returns to a Legendary Ovation
23 years ago today, WWF Monday Night Raw emanated from Madison Square Garden in New York City, featuring the monumental return of Triple H. Sidelined since April 2001 due to injury, The Game returned as a babyface, receiving one of the loudest crowd reactions in Raw history.
Also on the show, Spike Dudley and Tazz captured the WWF Tag Team Championships, defeating Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley in a thrilling contest to claim gold.
WWE Raw Results – January 6th, 2025
After three decades 🤯 on cable TV, the Netflix era of WWE Raw officially began last night. The show aired live from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, CA. To mark this historic debut on Netflix, WWE pulled out all the stops.
Opening: The show began with a red carpet pan and commentary introducing the Netflix debut of Monday Night Raw. A video narrated by Triple H explored the history of professional wrestling, concluding with his live in-ring welcome to the “Netflix Era.” Triple H introduced Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who delivered a signature promo celebrating WWE’s milestone and teasing future stories, including acknowledgments for Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. He even hugged Cody.

Roman Reigns def. Solo Sikoa in Tribal Combat
A brutal Tribal Combat match saw Roman Reigns overcome Solo Sikoa amidst outside interference from Tama Tonga, Jacob Fatu, and Kevin Owens. Reigns ultimately secured victory with a Spear, retaining his status as the undisputed Tribal Chief.
