January 9, 2006 – Edge and Lita’s Infamous ‘Live Sex Celebration’
19 years ago today, Edge celebrated his WWE Championship victory in controversial fashion on Monday Night Raw. After cashing in his Money in the Bank contract the night before to defeat John Cena at New Year’s Revolution, Edge and his girlfriend Lita staged a ‘live sex show’ in the middle of the ring, complete with a bed set up inside the squared circle. The segment became one of the most infamous moments in WWE history and helped make the episode one of the most-watched of the year.

AEW Dynamite aired live from the F&M Bank Arena in Clarksville, TN, on TBS and Max, featuring the return of Kenny Omega and the debut of the Casino Gauntlet match.

Powerhouse Hobbs defeated 10 competitors, including Adam Page, Jay White, and Kyle O’Reilly, to secure a shot at Jon Moxley’s AEW World Championship next week. Hobbs eliminated Kyle O’Reilly with a spinning spinebuster to win the match.Jeff Jarrett and Maxwell Jacob Friedman Confrontation
Following the gauntlet match, MJF interrupted Jeff Jarrett, offering to help him achieve one final world championship reign. Jarrett rejected the "deal with the devil," calling MJF a one-hit wonder and vowing to fight his way back to the top.
