The Radicalz Shock WWE Fans with Historic Jump from WCW
25 years ago today, one of the most shocking moments in Monday Night Raw history took place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Perry Saturn, and Dean Malenko—freshly departed from WCW—appeared in the front row as ‘guests’ of WWE Commissioner Mick Foley. The sight stunned fans, as all four had been granted their WCW releases just days earlier, marking one of the biggest talent raids of the Monday Night War era.

The group—soon dubbed The Radicalz—made an immediate impact, storming the ring during a tag match between The New Age Outlaws and Head Cheese (Al Snow & Steve Blackman). Within months, each member secured championship gold: Benoit as Intercontinental Champion, Guerrero as European Champion, Malenko as Light Heavyweight Champion, and Saturn as Hardcore Champion. Their arrival signaled WCW’s growing instability and WWE’s continued dominance as wrestling’s top promotion.
I feel like Kevin Nash and Scott Hall showing up as a surprise in WCW always gets all the attention, but this was just as wild at the time!

AEW
Wrestling Inc. breaks down the highs and lows of the latest episode of AEW Dynamite. The show featured a standout match between Will Ospreay and Brian Cage, but also some questionable booking decisions that divided fans.
Julia Hart opened up about her early struggles in AEW, explaining why she transitioned from a cheerleader gimmick to her current darker persona. “I think I just needed to take myself more seriously," Hart said. “In the cheerleader role, I looked at the character as an annoying preppy girl… but I was never like that in real life. I always wore baggy clothes and a hood over my head in high school.”
Danhausen discussed his place in AEW, making a case for why he should be featured more often on television. “I think the character is for TV. I think the top-seller list for the last four years or whatever, on TV or not on TV, I’m always top three or top four.” He pointed out that despite his limited appearances, his merchandise continues to be among AEW’s best-sellers.
