The Narcissist Arrives, and The Barber Returns

32 years ago today, Lex Luger made his WWE in-ring debut on Monday Night Raw, defeating Jason Knight in dominant fashion in under three minutes. Luger, under the persona of The Narcissist, had been hyped for weeks with mirror-filled vignettes showcasing his physique and arrogance. His arrival in WWE marked the next chapter in his career after a successful run in WCW.

Elsewhere on the show, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake made his long-awaited return to WWE after more than two years away following a life-threatening parasailing accident. His comeback set the stage for a short-lived feud with Money Inc., leading to his tag team run with Hulk Hogan as The Mega-Maniacs.

Side note: Over the last few weeks this section has been covering past Royal Rumbles. I was hoping to add one final one here given today is The Royal Rumble however 2025 is the first time in history The Rumble has happened in February… never knew that before!
