❤️ Happy Valentines Day
🧠 Friday Crossword ⭐️
It’s time to play the game… the Friday crossword. Wrestling has seen its fair share of power couples, real-life romances, and over-the-top love stories. Some found happily ever after, others found betrayal, and a few even found themselves in a love triangle with Vince McMahon (because of course they did). This week’s Valentine’s Day crossword is all about the most iconic wrestling couples—can you remember who fell in love, who broke up, and who got married live on Raw? Step into the ring and start solving!

🗓️ On This Day - 1999
Paul Wight Debuts at St. Valentine’s Day Massacre

26 years ago today, WWF St. Valentine’s Day Massacre: In Your House took place at The Pyramid in Memphis, Tennessee, featuring the shocking debut of Paul Wight (formerly The Giant in WCW), who interfered in the night’s main event.
The match saw Stone Cold Steve Austin battle Mr. McMahon inside a steel cage, with Austin’s WrestleMania XV WWF Title opportunity at stake. Wight emerged from underneath the ring, attacking Austin and tossing him into the cage wall. However, the impact caused the gimmicked cage panel to break open, allowing Austin to drop to the floor and win the match—securing his shot at the WWF Championship.
Elsewhere on the card:
Val Venis defeated Ken Shamrock to win the WWF Intercontinental Championship (Hello Ladies!).
Bob Holly won the WWF Hardcore Championship by defeating Al Snow.
The Rock and Mankind fought to a no-contest in a Last Man Standing Match for the WWF Championship, leaving the title picture unresolved heading into WrestleMania XV.
Wight’s debut marked the beginning of his long career in WWE, where he would later be known as The Big Show and capture multiple world championships.
❄️ Winter Madness 🏆
Welcome to Winter Madness, where we’re on a mission to crown the most popular WWE star across Morning Dirt Sheet! Every day, two legends step into the spotlight, but only one can advance.
WOOO! Yesterday we completed the first round of The Golden Era with the “limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin' n' dealin' son of a gun” (2) Ric Flair taking down (15) Bob Backlund (honestly I’m surprised Backlund got any votes against Flair).
That wraps up Round 1 of this era. We’ll come back in a few weeks to start Round 2 where the match ups are set.

Moving into the next round… The Attitude Era was WWE at its most rebellious—Monday Night Wars, over-the-top characters, and some of the most iconic moments in wrestling history. From The Rock’s electrifying promos to Stone Cold Steve Austin’s beer-soaked chaos, this was the era that changed everything.
Now, it’s time to decide who reigns supreme from this legendary period! Round 1 of the Attitude Era bracket starts today—vote for your favorites as we work our way toward crowning the greatest WWE superstar of all time!
⬇️ Vote for the wrestler you want to see advance! |

Legendary tag team Demolition (Ax & Smash) have reportedly signed a WWE Legends contract, sparking speculation that they could be part of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025.

AEW
Dave Meltzer believes Mercedes Moné should drop the AEW TBS Championship at Grand Slam: Australia, arguing that AEW has a chance to make a new star. "If Mercedes understands the big picture of the business, she should go to Tony [Khan] and go, 'I should lose,' because she has no opponent," Meltzer said. "She just beats people, which is fine, you know, she's the biggest star there, but at some point you have to lose and there is no better time or place... if you would've said like two weeks ago and suggested this to me, I would've said 'Ridiculous, Harley Cameron's not ready,' but she's got momentum, she's drawing ... it's time to make a superstar or a star and she's got it in her hands."
Tony Khan expressed excitement over AEW Grand Slam Australia, stating that the show has generated one of the biggest live gates in AEW history. While AEW has faced criticism for last-minute planning, the financial success of the event underscores AEW’s growing international presence.
This week’s AEW Dynamite recorded its lowest ratings of the year so far. The drop in viewership raises questions about AEW’s current creative direction and whether the company can regain momentum heading into Grand Slam: Australia and Revolution.
