Hangman Page & Kenny Omega Deliver an AEW Classic

5 years ago today, AEW Dynamite aired its 20th episode from State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, featuring what many considered the most acclaimed AEW match at that point in the company’s history.

AEW Tag Team Champions Hangman Page and Kenny Omega defended their titles against Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix (The Lucha Brothers) in a high-paced, hard-hitting bout that had fans on the edge of their seats. The match showcased AEW’s signature blend of tag team wrestling, elite athleticism, and storytelling, further cementing the reign of Omega and Page as one of the most dynamic duos in AEW’s early history.

WWE NXT Results - February 18th, 2025

WWE NXT aired live from the Performance Center on CW, featuring the fallout from Vengeance Day, Ricky Starks’ official contract signing, and multiple matches setting up future title challengers.

  • Oba Femi calls out his attackers
The NXT Champion opened the show, demanding the four men who jumped him at Vengeance Day come finish what they started. Instead, TNA X-Division Champion Moose interrupted. Moose declared himself the one man Oba couldn’t rule over and challenged him to a match. Oba accepted.

  • No. 1 Contender’s Match – NXT Women’s North American Championship: Karmen Petrovic def. Jaida Parker & Kelani Jordan
The match featured fast-paced action, with Jordan hitting a slingshot leg drop and Parker delivering a superplex. Parker looked poised for victory until Ashante "Thee" Adonis interfered, allowing Petrovic to steal the pin on Jordan. Post-match, Jordan and Parker brawled at ringside. Fatal Influence attacked Petrovic after the match, then turned their attention to Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer. Grace ran down to even the odds and issued a challenge for a six-woman tag match later in the night.

  • Sol Ruca & Zaria def. Meta-Girls (Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend)
The teams traded high-impact moves, with both Zaria and Legend showing their strength by lifting their opponents in fireman’s carries. After a chaotic sequence, Ruca hit the Sol Smasher on Jackson for the win.

  • Ricky Starks signs his NXT contract
Starks cut a promo, declaring himself the future of NXT. Ethan Page interrupted, accusing Starks of copying his playbook. The two exchanged words before Je’Von Evans attacked Page, brawling into the crowd. Wes Lee then confronted Starks, leading to a match being made for next week. Starks attempted a cheap shot but was countered, and he officially signed his contract as "Ricky Saints."

  • Hardy Boyz, title match, match announced for next week

  • Shawn Spears def. Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo
Spears took control with a series of strikes and a slingshot Codebreaker. Stacks fought back, but Spears hit a Death Valley Driver for the victory.

  • Eddy Thorpe def. Andre Chase
Chase had a crisis of confidence during the Chase U stomp, allowing Thorpe to capitalize with a chop block and the Hidden Blade before finishing with the Impaler. Post-match, Trick Williams appeared on the tron, warning Thorpe that their feud wasn’t over.

  • Giulia, Jordynne Grace, & Stephanie Vaquer def. Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne, & Jazmyn Nyx)
The match broke down into chaos, with Giulia hitting a Saito suplex and Vaquer diving onto Henley outside. Grace overpowered Nyx, landing the Here It Is Driver for the win.

  • The show ended with Ava Raine discovering Robert Stone unconscious, with "NO ONE IS SAFE" written on the wall.

WWE

A breakdown of this week's Monday Night Raw, highlighting the standout moments and questionable booking decisions. From championship feuds to unexpected returns, this review dives into what worked and what left fans divided.

MVP shared how he managed to avoid Vince McMahon’s infamous headset interruptions during his time on commentary. "...and I figured out real quickly, what I would hear in my headset, the mic would key, I know Vince was about to make a suggestion. I would say something before he could speak because I know whatever I say is going to be way better than whatever he suggested. I would hear the mic click like he was about to say something, and then I would say something, and I would hear the mic click out. That would happen all the time."

Despite making sporadic appearances in WWE, Eric Bischoff confirmed that he is not under contract with the company. However, he continues to receive royalties for the use of his likeness in WWE-related media, including video games and merchandise.

During his appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, Michael Cole explained why Netflix was interested in acquiring WWE Raw. "That's why Netflix wanted us," Cole said. "Netflix understands we are a storytelling entity first. We're not professional wrestling anymore, we haven't been for many years. We're an entertainment product. We need stories so our fans can emotionally invest in our characters. Why do they hate Logan Paul? Because he's a cocky prick, right? As a character."

Personally I disagree with Michael Cole here: 1) WWE/WWF has always been a storytelling company, from as early as the first Wrestlemania. That’s not anything new. And 2) people hate Logan Paul because he’s Logan Paul, not because he’s playing a character.
