Bam Bam & Taz Go Through the Ring at ECW Living Dangerously

27 years ago today, ECW Living Dangerously took place at the Asbury Park Convention Center in New Jersey, featuring one of the most iconic moments in ECW history.

In the highlight of the night, hometown hero Bam Bam Bigelow defeated Taz to win the ECW Television Championship. The match is best remembered for its jaw-dropping moment when Bigelow drove Taz through the ring, creating an unforgettable visual that would be replayed in ECW highlight reels for years to come.

Elsewhere on the show, another legendary ECW moment occurred after the main event, where Al Snow defeated Chris Candido. Following the match, the ECW faithful flooded the ring with hundreds of styrofoam heads in tribute to Snow’s signature gimmick, creating a surreal and electric scene.

WWE Smackdown Results - February 28th, 2025

WWE SmackDown aired live from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada, on FOX, featuring major developments ahead of Elimination Chamber.

Tiffany Stratton def. Chelsea Green via disqualification. The match was made on the spot after a heated exchange between Trish Stratus, Stratton, and Green.

Jacob Fatu def. Andrade El Idolo in a Number One Contenders Qualifying Match. A hard-hitting contest saw Fatu withstand Andrade’s high-flying offense before securing the win with a Double Jump Moonsault. With the victory, Fatu advanced to the main event’s triple threat match for a U.S. Title shot.

Tag Team Chaos Erupts. A scheduled match between The Street Profits and Los Garza never got started as DIY attacked The Profits during their entrance. The brawl expanded to include Los Garza, Pretty Deadly, and The Motor City Machine Guns, leading to a massive ringside melee.

LA Knight def. Santos Escobar in a Number One Contenders Qualifying Match. Knight countered Escobar’s Flying Crossbody with a BFT in mid-air to secure the pinfall victory, advancing to the triple threat main event.

Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn Face-Off. Speaking from the Rogers Centre, Owens warned Zayn that after tomorrow’s match, he wouldn’t help his family. Zayn responded by saying he was ready to do whatever it took to end their feud, even if it meant his relationship with Owens’ family would never recover.

Carmelo Hayes def. Braun Strowman via disqualification. 

Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez def. Bayley, Bianca BelAir & Naomi. A chaotic six-woman tag ended when Perez countered Bayley’s finisher and hit Pop Rocks for the win. After the match, Alexa Bliss attacked Perez, hitting her with Sister Abigail as a Wyatt Sicks graphic flashed on the screen.

LA Knight def. Jacob Fatu & Carmelo Hayes in a Triple Threat Match to earn a U.S. Title shot. Fatu seemed poised for victory after hitting a Double Jump Moonsault on Hayes, but Knight pulled him out of the ring and stole the pin.

Cody Rhodes Faces The Rock’s Offer. In an emotional interview, Michael Cole detailed what accepting The Rock’s offer would mean for Cody’s career. The Rock then appeared via video, gifting Cody a custom-made truck and a weight belt inscribed with "Cody’s Soul" and the date of Dusty Rhodes’ passing. The Rock declared that Cody would give him his soul at Elimination Chamber.
