Elimination Chamber's Wild Ending 🤯 and Major Returns 💥

WWE Elimination Chamber & AEW Collision Results for March 1st, 2025

Sunday, March 2nd, 2025

🤯 It’s rare that WWE or AEW truly surprises me, but last night, I was genuinely shocked. Between Cody dropping an F-bomb…

and Cena’s heel turn—something fans begged for during the PG Era—I never saw it coming.

Heel Cena feels so weird (in a good way), yet so refreshing, and after The Rock’s confusing promo last week on SmackDown, I’m fully back in on the story. I can’t wait for this WrestleMania build!

(Also why did Travis Scott have to be in the ring for this 🤦‍♂️… almost perfect)

ROH Celebrates 11 Years with Title Changes & a Heated Main Event

12 years ago today, Ring of Honor held its 11th Anniversary Show at Frontier Fieldhouse in Chicago Ridge, Illinois, featuring multiple title changes and a hard-hitting main event.

On the undercard, Matt Taven captured the ROH Television Championship by defeating Adam Cole, marking the start of his first reign with the title. Later in the night, ReDragon (Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish) dethroned Jay & Mark Briscoe to win the ROH Tag Team Championships, establishing themselves as one of the top duos in ROH.

In the main event, Kevin Steen (now Kevin Owens) successfully defended the ROH World Championship against Jay Lethal, continuing his dominant reign as the company’s top champion. This match was fueled by months of animosity, as Lethal sought revenge after Steen had previously disrespected his family.

It’s cool to see so many of these stars are still so successful across WWE & AEW!

The Modern Era – A New Generation Rises

WWE’s Modern Era (2014-Present) has been defined by global expansion, record-breaking title reigns, and a new wave of elite talent. The days of part-time legends dominating the main event have given way to superstars like Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Cody Rhodes carrying the industry into the future.

From The Shield’s dominance, to the rise of NXT, and the emergence of Gunther and LA Knight, this era has been nothing short of evolutionary. The return of CM Punk, the Bloodline saga, and WrestleMania moments that will be remembered for years prove that the Modern Era is still shaping the future of wrestling. Lets get it started!

AEW

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, AEW has had “numerous pitches” to unify the Continental Championship and International Championship. “While that is by no means confirmation that it’s in Tony Khan’s plans to do so, a huge winner-take-all match between Okada and Omega could be a huge draw. But Konosuke Takeshita, and the villainous Don Callis, will surely have something to say about that.”

________

According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, AEW is expected to part ways with more wrestlers in the coming weeks. “...I think the fact of the matter is, they got way too many people under contract…I think I can comfortably say she [Leyla Hirsch] will not be the last in the next 30 days.” With Leyla Hirsch’s exit already confirmed, more names may be on the way out soon.
