Good morning. Today we have a look back at the Raw after WrestleMania XIV, AEW Collision results, CM Punk finishing his story, an insane RKO, and much more. Lets dig in!

🗓️ On This Day - 1998

Triple H Takes Control as DX Reboots After WrestleMania

27 years ago today, the Raw after WrestleMania XIV ushered in a new era for D-Generation X as Triple H officially took the reins following Shawn Michaels’ retirement. He immediately brought back Sean Waltman—formerly Syxx in WCW—who re-debuted as X-Pac and cut a fiery promo aimed at Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan. Later that night, The New Age Outlaws joined the faction after Triple H and X-Pac helped them win the vacated WWF Tag Team Championships in a brutal cage match against Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie.

Elsewhere on a stacked show, The Rock ousted Farooq from The Nation of Domination in a violent coup, Kaientai debuted by ambushing Taka Michinoku, and The New Midnight Express captured the NWA World Tag Team Titles from The Headbangers. To cap off the night, new WWF Champion ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin was presented with a brand-new title belt design, replacing the legendary ‘Winged Eagle’ version.

AEW Collision Results - March 29th, 2025

Collision aired from the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena in Milwaukee, WI, featuring Mercedes Moné in action, Jamie Hayter’s return, and more Owen Hart Cup developments.

Toni Storm Calls Out Megan Bayne. Storm said she was embarrassed by her loss on Dynamite but remembered she’s “Timeless.” Bayne responded with a clothesline and F5. Penelope Ford blindsided the champ, while Megan Bayne blasted Storm from the other side! “A coordinated attack!” said Tony Schiavone. 

Jay White def. Kevin Knight. Knight showed strong offense, but White closed it out with a flatliner, German suplex, uranage, and Blade Runner. Afterward, he praised Knight and shifted focus to winning the Owen Hart Cup.

Mercedes Moné def. Robyn Renegade. After Renegade missed a moonsault, Moné hit a meteora, Moné Maker, and crossface for the win. Post-match, Mercedes declared for the Owen Hart Cup and dissed Billie Starkz before getting dropped by Athena, who also entered the tournament.

Big Bill & Bryan Keith def. Top Flight. The Martins had momentum until Keith blocked a splash and grounded Dante. Team offense set up a massive chokeslam from Bill for the win. CRU tried a sneak attack but were run off by AR Fox.

Wheeler Yuta def. Dax Harwood. Harwood nearly had it with the Sharpshooter, but Yuta escaped and countered into the seat belt pin. After the match, Harwood snapped at the ref and shoved his own partner, not realizing it was Cash Wheeler.

Hologram def. Blake Christian. In a fast-paced bout, Hologram stayed undefeated after catching Christian with an airplane spin bomb.

Jamie Hayter def. Billie Starkz. Hard-hitting main event. Starkz fired off strikes but Hayter used the ropes for leverage on a lariat to score the win. Athena appeared post-match to talk trash at Hayter from the stage.

Additional Notes: Toni Storm, Thunder Rosa, Kris Statlander, Jamie Hayter, and Athena were all announced for the women’s Owen Hart Cup. Adam Cole and Daniel Garcia agreed to a TNT Title rematch at Dynasty—no interference, no time limits. CRU pitched Nick Wayne on joining them, and Serena Deeb mocked Queen Aminata after her injury.

↕️ WWE SmackDown Review: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

This week’s WWE SmackDown saw a mixed response with several highs and lows. The show's main event featured a non-title triple threat between Seth Rollins, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns, which split fan opinion. "Tag team wrestling. It's the best." says Wrestling Inc., praising the Profits vs. Pretty Deadly match. Jacob Fatu stood out, while Stratton's momentum and Naomi’s heel turn got mixed reactions. Some questioned the Mania main event booking.

Janel Grant’s attorneys are seeking to move her sex trafficking lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE into discovery. Records involving Brock Lesnar are also being requested.

🚗 McIntyre's Savage Nod to CM Punk's AEW Fiasco

After being slammed through a windshield on SmackDown, Drew McIntyre tweeted "That was real glass… It got in my eye," in a not-so-subtle reference to CM Punk’s infamous AEW incident. The moment hinted at a WrestleMania showdown between McIntyre and Damian Priest.

🎤 Mandy Rose Baffled by WWE Radio Silence

Mandy Rose expressed confusion over WWE’s silence after her release in 2022. Despite her 413-day reign as NXT Women’s Champion, she’s yet to be acknowledged. "I don't know, I really don't know what it was," she said, but hinted she might return if the right opportunity came along.

💀 Bully Ray Suggests Turning Up the Heat in Orton-Owens WWE Feud

Bully Ray wants more fire in the Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens feud ahead of WrestleMania. On 'Busted Open Radio', he said, "I'd love to see another Piledriver going into WrestleMania."

Daniel Garcia will defend his TNT Title against Adam Cole at Dynasty in a match with no time limit and no outside interference. Their previous two encounters ended inconclusively, raising anticipation for a decisive third round.

👊 Kevin Knight Steps into the AEW Ring

Former NJPW star Kevin Knight has officially signed with AEW. He debuted on the March 29 episode of Collision and impressed despite a loss. "Kevin Knight is All Elite," Tony Schiavone confirmed post-match, promising more appearances to come.
