WrestleMania X Delivers a Historic Night at MSG

31 years ago today, WWF WrestleMania X was held at Madison Square Garden in New York in front of 19,444 fans. This was the first WrestleMania without Hulk Hogan and featured the WWF Championship being defended twice in one night. The event also showcased the famous ladder match between Razor Ramon and Shawn Michaels, which determined the undisputed WWF Intercontinental Champion.

Owen Hart defeated Bret Hart in the opener by countering a Victory Roll for the pin. In his final WWF match, Randy Savage beat Crush in a Falls Count Anywhere match by tying Crush upside down backstage, preventing him from returning to the ring within the one-minute count. Razor Ramon became the undisputed WWF Intercontinental Champion after defeating Shawn Michaels in a legendary ladder match, which IGN ranked as the #3 match in Wrestlemania history. Bret Hart closed the night by defeating Yokozuna to reclaim the WWF Championship, with Rowdy Roddy Piper as the special referee.

AEW Dynamite

AEW Dynamite Results - March 19th, 2025

AEW Dynamite aired live from the Liberty First Credit Union Arena in Omaha, NE, on TBS and streamed on MAX. The show featured Jon Moxley defending the AEW World Championship against Cope in a Street Fight, the AEW International Championship Eliminator Tournament finals, and Mercedes Mone defending the TBS Championship against Billie Starkz.

Ricochet and Mike Bailey advance to AEW Dynasty in controversial finish. Ricochet, “Speedball” Mike Bailey, Mark Davis, and Orange Cassidy battled for a shot at Kenny Omega’s AEW International Championship. Orange nearly won with an Orange Punch, but Ricochet stole the pin on Bailey with his feet on the ropes. The referee ruled that both Ricochet and Bailey would challenge Omega at Dynasty.

Mercedes Mone retains the TBS Championship against Billie Starkz. Billie Starkz put up a strong fight, delivering a brainbuster on the knee and a senton to the outside. However, Mercedes turned the tide with a backstabber, a vicious lariat, and the Statement Maker submission, forcing Starkz to tap out.

MJF teases forming his own faction. MJF acknowledged MVP’s offer to join the Hurt Syndicate but hesitated due to past betrayals. He promised to reveal his decision next week.

Jon Moxley retains the AEW World Championship in a brutal Street Fight against Cope. After much back and forth the spot of the match came when Cope suplexed Mox onto Spike and it stuck in his back! Outside interference from Wheeler Yuta, PAC, Claudio Castagnoli, and FTR turned the match into a war. Marina Shafir also got involved, allowing Moxley to lock in the bulldog choke, forcing the referee to stop the match. Afterward, Dax Harwood refused to help Cope, but Cash Wheeler did, hinting at tension in FTR.

Will Ospreay defeats AR Fox in a fast-paced battle. Both men countered each other’s signature moves until Ospreay hit the Hidden Blade for the win. Ospreay then declared himself for the Owen Hart Tournament, setting his sights on a future AEW World Title shot.

Hangman Page announces his entry into the Owen Hart Tournament. Page shifted his focus away from Swerve Strickland and declared his intention to win the tournament.

Megan Bayne defeats Kris Statlander. Despite a strong effort from Statlander, outside interference from Penelope Ford gave Bayne the advantage. Bayne hit Fate’s Descent on the floor and finished Statlander off with another inside the ring. After the match, Toni Storm stormed the ring, leading to a wild brawl that security had to break up. The show ended with Toni saying “You keep looking at my title, but you don’t have much to say. So you and I will have a date at Dynasty!”
