WWE Saturday Night Main Event Results - May 24th, 2025

WWE Saturday Nightās Main Event aired live from the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida, marking the companyās third primetime special since reviving the legendary franchise. The night featured four title matches, a steel cage grudge match, and a major post-match alliance that could reshape the Raw landscape. John Cenaās continued descent, Bronson Reedās shocking alignment, and Cody Rhodesā return delivered some of the biggest moments on a stacked card.
Seth Rollins & Bron Breakker def. CM Punk & Sami Zayn. In a wild opening tag match, Punk and Zayn controlled the early pace before Breakkerās power shifted the momentum. After back-and-forth action and several nearfalls, Paul Heyman caused a distraction while Bronson Reed jumped the barricade and pounced Punk through the guardrail. Breakker speared Zayn for the win, and post-match, Reed shockingly joined Rollins and Breakkerās faction, flattening Punk with a 747 Splash.
Bronson Reed being the third man to join the Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker team alongside Paul Heyman is f*cking awesome.
I canāt be the only one that didnāt see this coming, a great decision on WWEās part.

Zelina Vega def. Chelsea Green to retain the WWE Womenās United States Championship. Green dominated much of the match and nearly won after powerbombing Vega on the floor. However, Vega fought back, hitting an avalanche Code Red to secure the pin. Green was left bloodied and dazed post-match as her Secret Hervice tended to her.
John Cena def. R-Truth to retain the WWE Undisputed Championship. R-Truth, wrestling under the name Ron Cena, mimicked his opponentās moveset and came close to scoring an upset. Cena lured him into a false show of sportsmanship, delivering a low blow and Attitude Adjustment for the win. He followed up by blasting Truth in the face with the title belt after the bell.
Jey Uso confronted John Cena backstage. Cena reminded Jey of his Royal Rumble elimination and warned him that Logan Paul might walk out with the World Heavyweight Championship, leaving Jey in the shadow of a YouTuber.
Damian Priest def. Drew McIntyre in a Steel Cage Match. McIntyre ambushed Priest before the bell and introduced chairs into the equation. Inside the cage, they traded big strikes, suplexes, and finishers. Priest ultimately won by escaping through the door after a brutal Con-Chair-To, despite Jesse Ventura criticizing the door escape rule on commentary.
