📝 In the main event of WWE Judgment Day 2000, a returning superstar made his first appearance in eight months—interrupting the Ironman Match between Triple H and The Rock and causing a disqualification that crowned a new WWF Champion.

WWE NXT Results - May 20th, 2025

WWE NXT aired live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, featuring musical showdowns and escalating tensions just days before Battleground. Joe Hendry and Trick Williams traded lyrical jabs ahead of their champion vs. champion clash, Kelani Jordan secured a North American title shot, and Jasper Troy made a major statement in his first night. Plus, Myles Borne and Oba Femi stood face-to-face as their NXT title match took shape.

Sean Legacy def. Ashante “Thee” Adonis and Je’Von Evans. Legacy stole a chaotic opener by pinning Adonis with the Final Cut after Evans hit a frog splash. During the match, Ethan Page attacked Ricky Saints at ringside, leading to a post-match brawl that continued backstage.

Ava Raine confronted Ricky Saints and Ethan Page. She attempted to calm tensions but ultimately booked a title match between the two, fed up with their fighting and asserting her authority.

Jasper Troy made his debut. After being introduced earlier backstage by Ava Raine, Troy vowed to make an impact—and did just that later in the night.

Trick Williams dissed Joe Hendry in a live rap. Williams mocked the TNA Champion with a diss track in the ring, repeating the “Average Joe” nickname and promising victory at Battleground.

Shawn Spears def. Josh Briggs. After a back-and-forth match, Spears scored the win with a small package thanks to outside interference from Izzi Dame. Post-match, the Culling beat Briggs down until Hank and Tank made the save.

Jaida Parker attacked Thea Hail backstage. After a tense exchange between Hail and Tatum Paxley, Parker laid out Hail, mocked Paxley, and left the scene with her usual swagger.

OTM def. Chase U. Bronco Nima and Lucien Price overpowered Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors, winning quickly with an assisted spinebuster.

Oba Femi and Myles Borne faced off in the ring. They delivered emotional promos ahead of their NXT title match, only to be interrupted by Jasper Troy, who blindsided Femi with a Bossman Slam. Borne tried to help, but Oba shoved him away. Borne lingered with the NXT title before respectfully handing it back.

Lola Vice def. Fallon Henley. Vice survived a tough fight and capitalized on Jacy Jayne’s distraction, pinning Henley with a backfist. Jayne’s interference sparked more drama between the women’s roster.

Stephanie Vaquer was featured in a sitdown interview. She reflected on her journey and sacrifices as a global champion, adding intrigue to the women’s division.

Kelani Jordan def. Zaria. In a hard-fought main event, Jordan survived a cannonball into the turnbuckles and a chaotic sequence involving Sol Ruca to score the win with a bridging press. She now earns a shot at the NXT North American Championship.

Joe Hendry performed a diss track live in the ring. Hendry mocked Trick Williams’ history with Carmelo Hayes and predicted a win at Battleground. Trick tried to fight back, but Hendry countered the Trick Shot with a guitar shot and a chokeslam, standing tall to close the show.

Triple H & The Undertaker Headline a Game-Changing Judgment Day

25 years ago today, WWE presented Judgment Day live from Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky. In a dramatic 60-minute Ironman Match, Triple H defeated The Rock 6–5 to regain the WWF Championship, with Shawn Michaels serving as special guest referee. The match was decided by disqualification when The Undertaker made his long-awaited return, laying waste to DX and The McMahons. Making his first appearance in eight months, Undertaker debuted his new "American Badass" persona, riding to the ring on a motorcycle and signaling a major character shift.

Not the best quality poster but WWE hinted at The Undertaker’s return with his logo in Kane’s eye. I miss when they did stuff like this!

What a pop! Always loved the theme song of The American Badass, the little girls in the beginning were always so haunting, and that bell toll 🔥
