WWF Becomes WWE: Get the ‘F’ Out
23 years ago today, the World Wrestling Federation officially rebranded as World Wrestling Entertainment, marking the end of the iconic "WWF" era. The shift came after a legal battle with the World Wildlife Fund, which claimed infringement over the shared initials. WWE launched a cheeky “Get the ‘F’ Out” marketing campaign to promote the change, ushering in a new era that embraced sports entertainment more than ever.

Penta def. JD McDonagh. Despite interference from Balor, Carlito, and Chad Gable, Penta overcame the odds with a flip piledriver for the win. Post-match, Penta fended off Gable, building momentum for his IC Title match at Backlash.

IYO SKY def. Roxanne Perez. The Women's Champion narrowly escaped with a win after a sunset flip in a fast-paced match. Post-match, Giulia debuted by attacking SKY, aligning with Perez in a vicious double-team assault.
Rusev def. Otis. The Redeemer made a dominant return, submitting Otis with the Accolade. Afterward, Rusev destroyed both Otis and Tozawa in a brutal post-match beatdown.
