Good morning. Today we have a look back at the greatest WrestleMania ever, results from Raw in London where Cena and Rhodes have an incredible promo and Jey got annihilated by Gunther. Plus AJ Styles vs Logan Paul set for WrestleMania, MJF ripping into fans on Twitter, and much more. Lets dig in!

🗓️ On This Day - 2001

WrestleMania X-Seven Delivers an All-Time Classic

24 years ago today, WrestleMania X-Seven emanated from the Reliant Astrodome in Houston, Texas, drawing a then-record 67,925 fans for what is widely considered the greatest WrestleMania of all time. The card delivered an unforgettable blend of hardcore brawls, nostalgia, and emotional storytelling, headlined by Stone Cold Steve Austin defeating The Rock for the WWF Championship in a no disqualification match. Austin’s shocking heel turn—shaking hands with longtime rival Vince McMahon—capped off the night in dramatic fashion.

Other standout moments included Edge & Christian winning the WWF Tag Team Titles in a legendary TLC match against The Dudley Boyz and The Hardy Boyz, Shane McMahon defeating his father Vince in a Street Fight with help from a “reawakened” Linda McMahon and special guest referee Mick Foley, and The Undertaker extending his WrestleMania streak to 9-0 with a win over Triple H. The night also saw title changes for Chyna, Eddie Guerrero, and Kane, while The Iron Sheik won the Gimmick Battle Royal, much to the delight of the crowd.

This event also marked the first stadium-sized WrestleMania since 1992 and cemented the show’s place in wrestling history with fans and critics alike.

WWE Raw Results - March 31st, 2025

WWE Raw aired from the O2 Arena in London, England, with a special early start time and a stacked card leading into WrestleMania 41.

Cody Rhodes and John Cena Face Off Again. Cena opened the show but was quickly interrupted by Cody, who accused him of dishonesty and selling out. Cena fired back with an intense promo, calling Cody a polished fraud and nepo baby who stole his blueprint but lacked authenticity. Cody said the fans chose him, not corporate execs, and accused Cena of selling out to The Rock. The war of words ended with Cena attempting a cheap shot, but Cody blocked it and dropped him with Cross Rhodes.

There are honestly so many amazing lines in this promo, the entire thing is well worth a watch if you haven’t checked it out yet! One of the best, if not the best, promo of the feud so far!

New Day def. New Catch Republic. Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate gave New Day a strong challenge with innovative tandem offense, but Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods rallied to hit Daybreak on Dunne for the win. Afterward, War Raiders confronted New Day backstage, signaling a possible title match.

GUNTHER def. Jim Uso. The Ring General overcame an early onslaught, including a top-rope splash, and eventually locked in the Gojira Clutch for a referee stoppage. After the match, he applied the hold again until Jey Uso made the save. GUNTHER later ambushed Jey backstage, zip-tied him to the ropes, and brutalized Jim with elbows and a powerbomb in front of his helpless brother. Jey was left furious and bloodied.

(This escalated quickly 😣🩸)

Judgment Day def. Penta & Bron Breakker. Penta and Breakker were in control until a miscommunication led to Breakker spearing his partner. Finn Balor capitalized with the Coup de Grace on Penta for the win. Backstage, Penta and Breakker had a heated argument that required agents to separate them.

Logan Paul and AJ Styles Trade Verbal Shots. AJ called out Logan Paul, who refused to fight for free and insulted the London crowd. Styles accused Paul of lacking heart and purpose, leading to a brief fight. Logan escaped after a low blow and hit the Paulverizer to end the segment.

Judgment Day Tensions Rise. Backstage, Liv Morgan noted Finn Balor’s egotistical attitude and told Dominik Mysterio she’d advocate for him with management, possibly foreshadowing internal issues.

Judgment Day def. Penta & Bron Breakker. Finn Balor pinned Penta after a Coup de Grace following a miscommunication between Penta and Breakker. Tensions flared afterward between the losing team.

Iyo Sky vs. Rhea Ripley Ends in Chaos. With Bianca Belair as guest referee, Ripley and Iyo fought in a brutal title match that broke down after miscommunication led to both competitors striking the referee. After the match was thrown out, Ripley hit Riptides on both Belair and Iyo and stood tall with the title.

In a response to Swerve Strickland's recent comments on Vlad TV, wrestling legend Booker T expressed his disappointment in Strickland, stating he felt disrespected by the former AEW World Champion. "I told Swerve Strickland to his face how disappointed I am in him as a young brother...For him to say something like that about me — I don’t know if these guys think racism stopped in 1990 when I got in the business, but it didn’t," Booker T recalled during his appearance on the Hall Of Fame podcast. The WWE Hall of Famer also accused Vlad TV of pitting black wrestlers against each other and expressed his distaste for discussing racial issues on social media.

MJF has expressed confusion over fans' reactions when WWE and AEW reference each other. This was in response to John Cena and Cody Rhodes mentioning AEW during their promo battle on WWE Raw. "I truly don’t get why fans get up in arms when WWE mentions or references AEW. Or when AEW mentions or references WWE. If you want to be treated like children, watch Elmo," tweeted MJF.
