Roman Reigns Retains at Fastlane, The Fiend Returns

4 years ago today, WWE Fastlane took place inside The ThunderDome in Florida. Roman Reigns successfully defended the Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan in the main event, with Edge serving as the special enforcer. Elsewhere, Drew McIntyre defeated Sheamus in a hard-hitting No Holds Barred match, and The Fiend made his shocking return, appearing grotesquely burned and helping Alexa Bliss defeat Randy Orton in an intergender match.

For as much as I don’t miss The Thunderdome and COVID, I do miss Bray and The Fiend… but also don’t miss Vince’s booking decisions of The Fiend.

Other than that, I feel fine." Lawler also noted he’ll likely need a knee replacement soon.
