Good morning. Today we have a look back at Stone Cold’s legendary beer bath on The Corporation, WWE SmackDown results from Italy, Moxley’s insane spiked bat bump, Saraya’s praise for Toni Storm, updates on Alexa Bliss and Sami Zayn, and much more. Let’s dig into it!

🗓️ On This Day - 1989

Austin Brings the Beer Bath to Raw

26 years ago today, WWE delivered one of the most unforgettable moments of the Attitude Era when 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin drove a Coors Light beer truck into Monday Night Raw. First he delivered an unbelievable promo, "I've been hearing these past few weeks you spinning these little nursery rhymes about Jabroni Ave. or Know Your Role Blvd. Jesus Christ son. You better get your ass serious BECAUSE... Stone Cold is gonna take his ass to Philly. Check right in to the Smackdown Hotel. Roll right in to room 316. And BURN THAT SON OF A BITCH, TO THE GROUND!" 

Then doused The Corporation with a beer hose. What a Go-Home WrestleMania Show! The segment became an instant classic and helped build momentum toward WrestleMania XV.

Austin credited the entire roster and creative team for their role in Raw’s historic ratings: “As I stood on top of that beer truck delivering the go-home promo for Rock for WrestleMania 15, it was a hell of a night at the office. People just sht their pants, because you just don’t see that every day. And that’s the kind of stuff we were doing, sht, it seemed like damn near every Monday night we were doing something off the wall, and that’s why the ratings were so high. Well, I’ve got to give a lot of credit to the roster, we had a loaded roster with a lot of great creative, and we were just on a tear.”

WWE SmackDown Results - March 21st, 2025

WWE SmackDown aired from the Unipol Arena in Bologna, Italy 🇮🇹, featuring a chaotic showdown between Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins, a United States Title contender match between Braun Strowman and Jacob Fatu, and more international fallout on the road to WrestleMania 41.

Kevin Owens and Randy Orton clash over their past. Owens interrupted Orton’s promo to apologize for his previous attack and proposed they reunite to win the tag titles at WrestleMania. Orton rejected the idea, mocking Owens and saying the voices in his head are back—he plans to kick KO’s head off in Las Vegas.

Damian Priest & “Big” Jim Uso defeat Drew McIntyre & Shinsuke Nakamura. Priest and Uso picked up the win after Priest pinned Nakamura with South of Heaven. After the match, McIntyre retaliated with a Claymore, standing tall over Priest.

Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton trade verbal jabs. In a satellite interview, Flair dismissed Stratton’s accomplishments as a product of luck and sympathy, while Tiffany fired back that the fans no longer bow to Flair—they run on “Tiffy Time.”

Braun Strowman defeats Jacob Fatu by disqualification. In a hard-hitting United States Championship #1 contender’s match, interference from Tama Tonga and Solo Sikoa led to a DQ victory for Strowman. After the match, Fatu joined the beatdown on Braun until LA Knight ran in to even the odds. Strowman and Knight stared each other down, acknowledging the now-official title match.

Piper Niven defeats Zelina Vega. Despite a fiery comeback and support from the crowd, Vega was overwhelmed by interference from Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre, allowing Niven to finish her with a crossbody for the win.

Jacob Fatu lashes out backstage. Furious over the loss, Fatu attacked equipment and yelled at Solo Sikoa, who tried to calm him down. Fatu warned him not to interfere next time.

Liv Morgan defeats Jade Cargill. Cargill dominated early, but after Naomi distracted her and hit her with a tag title belt, Liv capitalized by hitting Oblivion for the win. Naomi then attacked Cargill post-match with a surfboard stomp and Heatseeker, leaving her laid out.

Drew McIntyre calls out Damian Priest. Backstage, McIntyre said he’s explained everything clearly and challenged Priest to prove him wrong. On his way out, he crossed paths with Seth Rollins, who simply chuckled and walked away.

Street Profits celebrate their title win. In-ring, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins received loud “You deserve it!” chants as they celebrated becoming tag champs. Their moment was interrupted by Legado del Fantasma and Pretty Deadly, leading to a challenge from the Profits to face Los Garza later in the night.

Street Profits defeat Los Garza. In a back-and-forth match, Montez Ford hit a frog splash on Angel Garza for the win. Interference from Santos Escobar backfired, and the Profits stood tall to close out their night in Bologna.

Backstage tag team drama heats up. Pretty Deadly ran into #DIY and discussed their upcoming title shot. DIY offered support in exchange for a future rematch, but Pretty Deadly declined. Moments later, the Motor City Machine Guns appeared and warned DIY they were next in line.

Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and CM Punk brawl to close the show. Reigns addressed the crowd, claiming he had gotten revenge on both Punk and Rollins. Rollins interrupted, warning Reigns he doesn’t understand how dangerous Punk is. Punk then arrived, mocking both men and reminding them they’ve never beaten him clean. Punk attacked Reigns, which sparked an all-out brawl involving all three. Rollins and Punk went at it, Reigns got involved, and the fight spiraled out of control as referees and road agents tried to break it up.
